Project Context and Description
In order to facilitate the financing of their photovoltaic (PV) installations for the production of electricity from solar energy and as part of a cooperation program between Tunisia and the German State, implemented by the GIZ, in partnership with ANME, AMEF consulting was asked to define a model of financing by leasing PV projects, within the framework of the self-consumption regime.
Work Done by AMEF Consulting
- Diagnosis of the leasing financing model in Tunisia (regulatory and legal framework, market, offer, operators, business models, SWOT analysis, …)
- Met with leasing operators (companies and banks) to assess their strategy and financing in the field of PV and their constraints for the financing of PV
- Review of international experience in PV funding
- Definition of a leasing financing model for non-residential photovoltaics and for self-consumption.
