Project Context and Description
As part of the setting up of a credit line to a Tunisian Leasing company by the GGF fund for leasing financing of energy efficiency (EE) and renewable energy (RE) projects, AMEF Consulting has been selected to support the leasing company in the development of a new EE / ER project financing activity for small and medium-sized companies, which constitute the majority of the client portfolio.
Work Done by AMEF Consulting
- Brief institutional diagnosis of the leasing company to assess its capacity to develop a new EE / RE project financing activity and refine the technical assistance plan and the approach to its implementation
- Study of the EE and RE market in Tunisia, with the organization of a workshop for the presentation and discussion of the results of this study
- Organization of a focus group with customers to better understand their motivations and expectations in terms of financing photovoltaic (PV) installations
- Design of a financing product for PV projects through leasing
- Support for the establishment of commercial partnerships with PV suppliers-installers as a privileged channel for the marketing of PV leasing financing
- Support for the development of a partnership with the branch network of shareholder banks in the leasing company
- Review of the commercial and operational organization, procedures, supports and work tools to take into account the specificities of the new PV and EE leasing activity
- Support in the identification of potential clients for the financing of EA and RE projects
- Training and Coaching of sales teams and financial analysts on EE and RE financing
